Line Up With Heaven!

When the angel of the Lord appeared to Mary, it must have been a pretty overwhelming situation.
Young, inexperienced in the 'things' of life, the message must have rocked her world.
But i love what She did, and i belive if we can choose to be like her in the face of the promises that God has made to us, we shall experience days of heaven on earth. Read the story in Luke 1:26-40
1. We must call ourselves what God calls us:  Mary called herself, the maidservant of the Lord.
To obtain what's promised, call yourself what God calls you! Prosperous, healed, married, delivered, joyful, fruitful.. What did God call you? then call yourself that. It's not pride, it's simply agreeing with God

2. We must Agreed to What was promised: She said, let it be to me according to your word. She said amen to God's will for her. Paul said to the corinthians (2 Cor 1:20) that the promises of God are Yea, and Amen as spoken by us. That means we say So be it to what God has said.

3. We fight for the promise: Mary stood firm in bringing forth the baby, remaining in her relationship with Joseph, and visiting her cousin to see God's word fulfilled. Hebrews 11 tells us of how the Patriarchs who didn't even obtained the promise had to fight for what they knew to be God's promise over them. Fight for the word!

I believe 2010 holds great fulfilment for the great things God has promised his children, but if we don't line up with heaven, "Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven", then we may not walk into the fulfilment
Make a choice in 2010 to be like Mary, and experience heaven on earth!

Manners Please boys

First up, apologies for not posting for a while. My involvement with a new online project, plus looking for the elusive dollar has kept me away. But I'm back. So here goes! The golden age of fine wining and dining has seemingly been replaced by our quick instant lifestyles that allow very little time for anything. microwaves, email, instant coffee, MTV, Tyra Banks, Maina and Kingangi in the morning.... its all fast paced. And so has the approach to relationships become. Kila kitu ni chap chap. Including the meet-ups. We do twitter, Facebook, then Sms, by the time a week is over, we are having sex online. That's just how fast paced its become.
