Transitioning!

Isn't it amazing how you can be looking at your life and be content about what it is until you have to ask someone to fill in your shoes? Well, that's been my musing for the last couple of months. Thinking about raising others and turning over to them the ministry has been very insightful into my own life. The way i do things, speak, entrust, empower and even relate has come to the fore as we pray and believe God for pastors to be raised in our church and for other churches. Turning over a church can be a scary experience! Yet a very rewarding one. First, it helps you see your life through another's eyes. It causes you to believe in others just like you believe in yourself, and allows you to become generous. In praise and Money as well! But seeing other people plug in and take up the leadership of the church is ultimately humbling, as it reveals our humanity and how God uses broken people to minister an unbroken gospel to a broken world. When we think we are perfect, Go
