Growing Family
Alexa is 2 and 8months now! She is incredibly intelligent and quick of grasp. Well with that is the usual annoying family feud style questions: We asked 100 hundred people... Why? How? When? which? blah blah blah... We were laughing with Evy the other day coz she is speaking very little English now. Well the reason is that the house help and Jane (My sister) speak to her in Swahili or Sheng (Slang)! Now we are making a rule that she is spoken to in English! But really thinking about it, isn't it interesting that our environment tends to dictate our language? Which brings me to, What have you been saying lately? What words are proceeding from your mouth? Are they full of love, life, grace, hope, faith and the word of God? Or are they full of fear, doubt, anger, low self esteem, pain and failure?
